What is Tumbling Window Trigger in azure data factory

Tumbling Window Trigger in Azure Data Factory in English:

In Azure Data Factory, a Tumbling Window Trigger is a type of trigger that starts a pipeline execution based on a time period or window. Tumbling Window Trigger starts a new execution of a pipeline at a specific interval, such as hourly or daily, and runs for a defined duration or window.

When creating a Tumbling Window Trigger, you can specify the following properties:

  1. Start time: The start time for the Tumbling Window Trigger.
  2. Duration: The duration or time period for which the trigger should run.
  3. Interval: The time period at which the trigger should start a new pipeline execution.
  4. Timezone: The timezone in which the start time should be interpreted.
  5. Expiration time: The date and time at which the Tumbling Window Trigger should expire.

For example, if you create a Tumbling Window Trigger with an interval of one hour and a duration of two hours, then the trigger will start a new execution of the pipeline every hour and run for two hours.

Tumbling Window Triggers are useful when you need to perform data integration or processing tasks that need to be executed periodically and on a regular schedule. By using Tumbling Window Triggers, you can automate these processes and reduce the need for manual intervention, which can help improve the efficiency and reliability of your data integration workflows.

Tumbling Window Trigger in Azure Data Factory in Hindi:

Azure Data Factory mein, Tumbling Window Trigger ek aisa trigger hai jo ek time period ya window ke basis par ek pipeline execution start karta hai. Tumbling Window Trigger ek nishchit interval jaise ki hourly ya daily ke basis par ek pipeline execution start karta hai, aur ek nirdharit duration ya window ke liye chalta hai.

Tumbling Window Trigger banaate samay, aap nimnlikhit properties ko specify kar sakte hain:

Start time: Tumbling Window Trigger ke liye start time.
Duration: Trigger ka duration ya time period.
Interval: Trigger ko ek naye pipeline execution ke liye start karne ka time period.
Timezone: Start time ko interpret karne ke liye timezone.
Expiration time: Tumbling Window Trigger ka expiry date aur time.

For example, agar aap ek Tumbling Window Trigger banaate hain jisme interval ek ghante ka hai aur duration do ghante ka hai, to trigger har ek ghante mein pipeline ke ek naye execution ko start karega aur do ghante tak chalega.

Tumbling Window Triggers tabhi upyogi hote hain jab aap data integration ya processing tasks ko niyamit roop se aur ek nishchit schedule ke anusaar execute karna chahte hain. Tumbling Window Triggers ka upyog karke, aap in processes ko automate kar sakte hain aur manual intervention ki jarurat ko kam kar sakte hain, jisse aapke data integration workflows ki efficiency aur reliability badha sakte hain.
